NASA's Space Shuttle - Team Lead, Staff Programmer
Team Leader and Lead Programmer on the on board
De-orbit and Re-entry computer programs for the
Space Shuttle spacecraft. The work was performed on
Vax Computer in Assembler.
NASA's Large Area Crop Inventory Experiment - First Line and Acting Second Line Manager As a first line manager, managed 13-17 people, who were applications programmers on IBM mainframe computers. As an acting second line manager, managed three departments comprising 40 application programmers, system programmers and quality assurance people. This project was initiated and reported to the President of the United States. NASA Skylab, Apollo and Un-manned Missions - Programmer / Analyst Responsible for the analysis, design, and programming of support software for various NASA un-manned missions. This included simulators for the Apollo and Skylab missions, Orbit Prediction and Determination programs for weather and communication satellites. This was performed on IBM Mainframes in Assembler and Fortran. |
